Gonzo looked like he was going to be a spectacular addition to the Colts when he was added. His first season (drafted first round in 2007 from Ohio State) he start to fit in well with the schemes and became a frequent Manning target. But then the injuries set in; and oddly, despite recovering, in later years, he didn’t see a lot of action. Some say he was a “head case” or had done something to make the Polians mad.
Being a receiver for Brady will provide a more objective look at his abilities. With Welker on a franchise tag, the Patriots could use some additional receivers.
