The Colts won an ugly game against Buffalo thanks to a breakout performance by Colts rookie WR T.Y. Hilton.
While the Colts special teams had a great game against the Bills, Hilton did something we rarely see with the Colts. He scored a TD on a punt return.
A bit of advice helped him. Advice From Colts HC Chuck Pagano himself:
"Stretch and cut, stretch and cut, stretch and cut," Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano urged his punt returner.
From the Indianapolis 25, he angled across the field to the left, stretching and overcommitting the Buffalo Bills' pursuit. Then he cut sharply into a gap, made a couple Bills miss and shot through an alley walled by blocking teammates and into the open."
Pagano's advice paid off. Hilton had a great game against the Patriots a week ago scoring 2 TDs. That was followed by another great performance against Buffalo. Now as both a WR and punt returner.
These two games should make Colts fans feel good about the rookie WR.
