Phil Richards talks to the ultra-dedicated, rehabbing Ben Ijalana

Colts Authority Daily Links, 9/30/12

They can rebuild him.  They have the technology.

The Indianapolis Star's Phil Richards is at it again, diligently keeping us informed on the Colts during an otherwise uneventful bye week.  Today, he talked to Ben Ijalana, who has undergone a slew of surgeries and is now faithfully plugging away behind the scenes, unwavering in his physical rehabilitation:

You can wonder if Ijalana’s body will hold up but don’t doubt his spirit. It is irrepressible. He stubbornly, cheerfully maintains his perspective.

It has held up through hernia surgery, surgery to shave bones in both hips to relieve back problems and the two knee reconstructions, all in the past 21 months.

They can rebuild him.  They have the technology (I couldn't help it).  Here's hoping we see Ijalana on the field next year.  Click the link and enjoy Phil's article.
