Phil Richards’ Commentary on Andrew Luck Controlling His Emotions During Games

Phil Richards of The Indianapolis Star talks about Andrew Luck's ability to keep his emotions under control and avoid letting them affect him on the next series, even when things go horribly wrong:

Luck jerked off his helmet, slammed it on his thigh and spat a naughty word angrily.

There’s an expression for what happened to the Colts’ prize rookie: he got emotionally highjacked.

The phrase belongs to Jim Harbaugh, who coached Luck at Stanford and now is boss of the San Francisco 49ers.

Of course, Number 12 bounced back and almost brought his team back as well.  Richards also has some great quotes from Clyde Christensen in his article. It's great reading especially if you're having bye week Colts withdrawal.
