While Kyle's added a curious undertone to this story – on which I'll elaborate in a moment – the Colts will be hosting an NFL Play 60 camp with the help of Hall of Fame OT Anthony Muñoz. The focus is on health and fitness, aiming to get children active for at least an hour every day.
Each camp participant will receive a football with a bilingual hang-tag that offers youth an opportunity to view videos in Spanish and English that teach the basics of football on the NFL’s youth website, NFLRUSH.com. The NFL donated more than 30,000 footballs to youth as part of its Hispanic outreach initiative. The camp is the eighth of 12 NFL PLAY 60 Character Camps to be held this summer as part of the NFL’s year-round Hispanic outreach initiative, focused on offering youth opportunities to play and experience the game of football.
The Colts involved will be Larry Asante, John Boyett, Jeremy Kelley, Kerwynn Williams and Drake Nevis, a few of which were mentioned (and the rest, implied) in Kyle's article on Bubble Players; and, strangely, I have no idea what to make of it.
