Mort: Colts set on Luck

In this business I hear lots of guarantees including everyone whose brother/cousing/close friend works for/with/near the Colts.  On occasion (more often that admitted) sports journalists offer the same kind of guarantees including this one from Chris Mortensen:

With the stunning dismissal of Bill Polian, the architect of the Colts’ 11 playoff appearances, uncertainties remain over Peyton Manning’s health and Jim Caldwell’s future as coach, but sources say one thing is certain: Colts owner Jim Irsay plans to take Andrew Luck with the draft’s first-round pick.

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
