Luck missing OTAs

Andrew Luck is finishing two classes at Stanford. By rule he cannot participate with the team until June 2, 2012 as a result. That doesn’t mean he’s happy about it:

Luck is mixing football with classes in Palo Alto, Calif., but missing invaluable work nonetheless. “For him to be here, taking snaps, building chemistry, the timing with the offense, timing with the receivers, all those kind of things . . . it’s days lost,” coach Chuck Pagano said. “It’s like money you never get back.”

The team has provided Luck with a playbook and other information, and the line of communication remains open and active.

“Last night he called me and it’s killing him not to be here,” Pagano said.

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
