Kravitz: The end of Manning

Bob Kravitz decided to wade into some dangerous waters:

It might be foolhardy to read this into the Indianapolis Colts’ decision to fire Jim Caldwell, but that’s never stopped me before: What Tuesday’s announcement suggested to me is, they’ve moved on, emotionally if not physically and officially, from Peyton Manning.

While I don’t believe that this decision has much impact on the decision about Peyton Manning, I also don’t believe it means he’s returning. Manning will return if he wishes to return, is healthy enough to do so and the Colts decide they want him to return.

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
