Kravitz: Colts fans in Eli’s hands

Bob Kravitz notes that this is hostile territory for New England.  As such, locals are certainly behind little brother Eli:

Let’s just say that Indianapolis, home to an AFC team, just became an NFC town.

A New York Giants town.

An Eli Manning town.

It’s going to be up to Peyton’s little brother, Eli, whose team survived and overcame the San Francisco 49ers in overtime Sunday night, to stop quarterback Tom Brady, coach Bill Belichick and the rest of the reviled Patriots from celebrating at the House That Peyton Built.

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
