Kravitz: A team of character

While it has been hard to watch this team lose, the players never quit.  Bob Kravitz writes that’s how we discovered their true character:

But these players were as professional in losing as they were in winning. The old scribe once wrote that sports don’t develop character, they reveal it, and it should be mentioned that this group never fell apart, never engaged in public finger-pointing. There were a lot of unhappy guys in there — unhappy about losing, about front-office and coaching decisions, unhappy about the way they were used — but it never left the locker room.

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
