Jaguars/Colts narrowly misses blackout

The final meeting between the Colts and Jaguars have traditionally featured high ticket prices due to the playoff implications normally involved.  This year the Jaguars were lucky to avoid a blackout:

The Jaguars’ final home game Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts will be televised in the Jacksonville area after enough tickets have been sold to lift the television blackout.

Ticket sales are expected to continue through Sunday, and the game will be televised by CBS both regionally and locally.

The team has avoided having any game blacked out since the 2009 season.

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
