In Mike Chappell's Colts Notebook, for The Indianapolis Star, he addresses the matchup many fans are concerned about: The 230 pound Richardson against Indy's 29th ranked run defense. Chappell also recapitulates some recent roster moves and gives a shout-out for the sellout:
The Colts are at 83 sellouts and counting. Sunday’s game with the Browns at Lucas Oil Stadium has sold out. The team anticipates Cleveland returning a portion of its allotment and those tickets will be put on sale to the public.
According to Wikipedia, the last Colts blackout was in 2002. I thought it was in 1998, but I can't find much more information on it. Two NFL teams have already had television blackouts in 2012, so we shouldn't take the 83rd straight sellout for a team that has only won four games since the end of the 2010 season lightly. Hats off to Colts fans. Let's hope this continues, so we don't have to hear that dreaded "fair-weather" moniker any more.
