Huard: Peyton should come to Seattle

Brock Huard thinks Peyton Manning would be a perfect fit in Seattle. He likes the idea so much he penned an open letter to his old friend. In the letter he makes the case for teams that either don’t need, wouldn’t appreciate or wouldn’t equip Manning with the tools he needs to win. He the proceeds to lay out a somewhat convincing case for his beloved Seattle and wraps it up with an promise:

So there you have it, Peyton, there should be plenty of suitors and if you decide to take Mr. Allen up on his offer of a seaplane trip into Seattle you will find the finest football complex in the league and a head coach as driven as you are to win a world championship. Wishing you a speedy recovery, and I promise not to bother you as much as I did back in the day.

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
