Hilbert: Arians Happy the Steelers Let Him Go

Sometimes, what looks to be bad news turns out for the best; in the case of Bruce Arians, getting dropped by Pittsbugh was the bad news, and getting picked up by Indianapolis was the best. At 5-2 since he took over, Arians has moved the Colts into an unlikely playoff spot and given them hope after last season*.

"I'm thankful for the Pittsburgh Steelers letting me go to be here," Arians said Wednesday. "Truthfully, I couldn't think of a better place to be at this point in time and to have felt more needed probably in my entire life. So thank you Pittsburgh.”

Letting life run its course has its ups and downs; and like Arians experienced in the last year, you can't have the former without the latter.

*my brother doesn't agree, but the Colts did technically field a team last year.
