Farrar: Cheerleaders Shave Heads to Support Coach Pagano

In support of Chuck Pagano's battle with leukemia, and like many members of the Indianapolis Colts's team and staff, two Colts Cheerleaders shaved their heads after Sunday's tilt with the Buffalo Bills. The two cheerleaders, Megan M. and Crystal B. (imagine Andrew L. No more Luck puns? How could ESPN survive?), got trimmed by Blue, the Colts mascot; no word on whether the colt will be following suit.

"I've just had personal experiences with people who have had cancer," Megan told 24-hour News 8's Daniel Miller. "I've had mentors and family members and volunteer at Riley and met little girls who have lost their hair and beat cancer multiple times. Just seeing struggles they went through and how they could overcome that and still have confidence and fight this fight without their hair – they are really my inspiration for doing this."

Farrar also reports that over 800 Colts fans have shaved their heads for the cause, and over $250,000 have been raised in the #Chuckstrong campaign.
