D. Stanton: No ball uncatchable for Calvin Johnson

One of the biggest concerns for the Colts against Detroit is covering WR Calvin Johnson.

Johnson has 1,257 yards and 4 TDs this season. He's on pace for 1,828 yards. The Colts defense is ranked 19th against the pass. The Colts can't cover and rarely pressure opposing QBs.

Covering the best WR in the league sounds like mission impossible or, as Arians described it, "an unbelievable challenge".

Colts backup QB and former Lion Drew Stanton knows just how good Megatron is:

"I think he's got a 42-inch vertical. And he's 6-6. You can put it in places where only he can touch. I know that firsthand. I don't know if there is a ball that's technically uncatchable for Calvin."

While CB Vontae Davis is expected to return against Detroit, it seems like he will have limited playing time.

That leaves Megatron against CB Darius Butler. Butler understands perfectly what kind of challenge it's going to be:

“He brings everything," Butler said of Johnson. "If you want to go create a receiver on Madden, that's going to look like Calvin Johnson. He brings everything to the table, so we are going to have to bring our ‘A' game.”

Even if they bring their 'A' game, it's going to be a really tough day for the Colts secondary.
