Colts Injury Report: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

As implied, there's some good to come from Indy's week 16 injury report – just not a lot.

The Good: Andrew Luck is probable (like usual), and Freeney and Freeman are probable and practicing. Other probables: Teddy Williams (a recently promoted practice squad CB) and Martin Tevaseu. Also, Joe Lefeged looks set to go. The last point wouldn't be as important, were Tom Zbikowski available Sunday …

The Bad: … but he's not. Announced OUT so far includes the Colt safety, as well as Delone Carter, Kavell Conner, and Samson Satele. Carter is a big loss (given the joke Arians has running behind Ballard), but the Colts shouldn't need to worry this week. Worse news: Winston Justice is questionable and is participating in 'limited practice' according to NFL.com; Luck really benefits from the veteran tackle when he's in the lineup.

The Ugly: Satele's out for sure; worse, his backup, A.Q. Shipley, has not participated in practice and is listed as questionable. Satele's been good this year, Shipley's been a decent backup, but they don't really have a third center. Who does? If Shipley can't play this week, the Colts may have … Seth Olsen? Tony Hills? Bruce Arians? The list wasn't long to begin with.

Anyway, of all the teams to be playing this week, Kansas City should provide the least competition (I know, I know, they DID beat Carolina), but Satele needs to heal up soon – preferably by the time the playoffs start.
