Well, isn't this good news.
The Indianapolis Colts today placed safety John Boyett on the Non-Football Injury List and running back Ahmad Bradshaw on the Physically Unable to Perform List.
Bradshaw, 5-10, 214 pounds, signed with the Colts on June 11, 2013 after spending the previous six seasons (2007-2012) with the New York Giants. In 84 career games (33 starts), he holds totals of 921 rushes for 4,232 yards and 32 touchdowns and 132 receptions for 1,087 yards and three touchdowns.
While I'm going to wait in ignorant bliss to see where this ends up, it seems like Ballard will be working with Luck extensively throughout training camp, a bonus for the young runningback; before this development, it seemed like Bradshaw had a clear path to #1. While Bradshaw can be taken off the PUP list at any time, recent reports indicate that his injury is still lingering.
If this sets the tone for 2013, we might be in trouble.
