Castonzo’s rookie journey

Phil Richards says offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo didn’t have the rookie season he was expecting:

“Literally every single thing has been different,” said Castonzo, who immediately seized and capably filled the all-important left tackle slot. “I figured I’d be healthy throughout the season because I’d never gotten injured before. I figured we’d win 10-plus games. I figured we’d be in the playoffs. I figured we’d have stability with our coaches.

“I mean it literally was the complete opposite of what I expected.”

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
