1070 The Fan: What it Will Take for the Colts to Win on the Road

Over at 1070 The Fan, Conrad Brunner gives his 'prescription' for what the Colts' need to earn their first road victory this weekend.  Brunner itemizes a few things the Colts need to work on (running game, turnovers, etc.) and touches on what's on the backs of many people's minds: The Titans' Arena League-like defensive numbers.

On paper, the Titans offer a delicious opportunity to cure what ails the Colts on the road. The defense is just plain awful, yielding averages of 34 points and 416 yards per game. Their pass rush is meek (nine sacks) and they haven’t come up with many takeaways (five interceptions, two fumble recoveries). Opposing quarterbacks have a 108.2 passer rating against the Titans, which would shatter the record set by the Colts last season (103.9) for worst in NFL history.

Of course, none of these that will matter if they don't take advantage of the Titans' defensive problems.  Check out Brunner's article.  It's a good read.
