Mocking the Colts: Preparing for the Bengals

In order to prepare for this Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Colts have activated running back Darren Evans from the practice squad. To make room on the roster, offensive tackle Michael Toudouze was wavied. The move indicates that Joseph Addai will likely not be ready to play this weekend.

A practice squad move is likely pending as defensive tackle Kade Weston was waived from the practice squad. This move follows the signing of defensive tackle Daniel Muir. The team also released cornerback Cornelius Brown from the injured reserve.

With Jerraud Powers dealing with his own injury, there is an increasing chance that 2010 third round pick Kevin Thomas will spend time at cornerback. This should provide fans with an opportunity to evaluate Thomas’s development.

Coltzilla will follow Indy’s roster adjustments leading up to the weekend and keep readers posted.
