Colts Power Rankings: 2011, Week 13

Each week, Coltzilla will scour the net for team rankings from football experts covering the previous week, and discuss them from the fan’s perspective.

Average Ranking: 32.00 (previously 32.00)

CBS Sports – Pete Prisco – 32nd (no change): At least with Dan Orlovsky, they showed some life on offense. Not a lot. But some. [Hmmm, maybe. Late. Against one of the worst defenses in the league.]

ESPN – 32nd (no change): The Colts’ secondary situation was already bad. Now, two corners who were regulars are on injured reserve. (Kuharsky) [Yup. Two years in a row now, huge injuries in key positions. The glass-half-full reminds me that all this extra playing time helps the team next year. Is it next year yet?]

Fox Sports – 32nd (no change): Solid effort to come back against the Patriots, but did you really expect QB Dan Orlovsky to make a difference for this offense? [No Coach, we didn't. We hoped. But we didn't expect.]

WEEI in Boston – 32nd (no change): You would be hard pressed to find a more pathetic team than the Colts. The entire coaching staff deserves to be fired after the season. The loss of Peyton Manning doesn’t excuse how unprepared the Colts have looked this year game-after-game. [You'd love that, wouldn't you, Boston? Why not press to trade Manning too, while you're at it? You can't consistently beat them on the field, so you try to create derision among the fans. Pffft.]

Pro Football Talk – 32nd (no change): Perhaps the only way the Colts can screw up their shot at Andrew Luck is by resting their starters. [Ha! Ok, that was low... but it was funny.]

Sports Illustrated – Don Banks – 32nd (no change): Dan Orlovsky didn’t win his first start, against the Patriots in New England, but he looked like an NFL quarterback capable of winning a game. That’s more than you could say about Kerry Collins and Curtis Painter in Indianapolis this season. [I completely disagree, Don. As I go back and watch this year's contests, Collins is clearly the best QB of the three. He just doesn't have the skill set to run this offense.]

Walter Football – 32nd (no change): -not worth pasting- [They've hit a new low at Walter Football. I'm embarrassed for them.]

Yahoo Sports – ?: [Three weeks in a row, Yahoo fails to link to page 2.]
