Injury Updates, and Colts May be Interested in Vernon Gholston

From Tom James:

Among those sitting out Monday's practice were S Antoine Bethea (hamstring), WR Anthony Gonzalez (hamstring), WR Austin Collie (foot), OT Ryan Diem (groin), and WR Blair White (PUP, back).

These are just some of the key guys, just thought I'd pass that along to all of you. Bethea, Gonzo, and Collie are all key guys entering the 2011 season, and need to be healthy for Week One. Gonzo is one who should be especially worried about getting on the field. If he is hurt for significant time this year, I doubt he comes back.

In other news, Terry McCormick of NFP is reporting that the Colts may be interested in former first round bust Vernon Gholston. Gholston busted for the Jets, and then worked with Chicago before they cut him in the latest wave of releases. I'm fairly skeptical he could do anything in Indy, especially with the Colts already having a tough decision to make on the DEs.
