Colts Suspend Jim Tressel For Six Games

In a move that fans and critics have been wailing on about since Tressel's hiring was announced, the Colts have chosen to suspend Tressel until the seventh game of the season. Per Mike Freeman of CBS:

BREAKING: Colts suspend Jim Tressel until seventh game of the season. Wow!

This is the right decision. Tressel needed to take some kind of a hit from this, as did Terelle Pryor. Bob Kravitz speculated that this was likely a league mandated suspension, but Peter King says differently:

This Tressel ban till week 7? His suggestion.

Either way, it's the right move from the Colts, NFL, and Tressel. But, it doesn't overshadow the sad news on Peyton Manning.
