Colts Sign Kerry Collins

I don't know what to think anymore (Per Jim Irsay's Twitter):

We have agreed to terms with Kerry Collins…more details to come

While Irsay's twitter has been humorous the past few days, this is not a joke. Collins was supposed to be retired, but looks like he was willing to take a deal.

While I was very sure Manning would start on Week One, this puts that thought into serious doubt. While I still think the odds are Manning starts, this certainly isn't a good sign. Quite frankly, this should have happened weeks ago if there were any doubts that Manning would be ready for camp. You can't possibly tell me that the Colts were confident in Painter or Orlovsky to play in real games. If Manning doesn't play against Houston, I will be furious with our front office.
