Colts Authority Fantasy Leagues!

It’s that time of year again! The time where we forego all friendships and mildly pleasant acquaintances for the sake of competition. Bloody, satisfying competition. Fantasy football is serious business. But really, you don’t care about my introduction, you just want to get in a league. So here we go: Right now, we have two […]

Patriots, Redskins & Eagles Are The Top Priced Colts Tickets Of 2014

After posting back-to-back 11-5 records in 2012 and 2013, the Indianapolis Colts will look to win the AFC South for the second consecutive season in 2014. A weak division once again would make the Colts favorites to return to the playoffs, though it hasn’t really boosted ticket prices on the secondary market.. According to TiqIQ, […]

Charting the Colts’ Offensive Line: Preseason Week 2

The Colts’ offense appears to be on the cusp of breaking through. Five first-team drives in two preseason games have generated 13 points, a middling figure, but three of the four drives that started in the Colts’ half have reached their opponents’ territory (one began in the Giants’ half after a turnover). Aside from that running […]

Colts Trade K Cody Parkey for Eagles Reserve RB David Fluellen

Adam Schefter is reporting that the Colts have traded kicker Cody Parkey – yes the same Cody Parkey they waived yesterday  (rescinded according to Stephen Holder)– for rookie Eagles running back David Fluellen (5-11, 224). Colts Rising and Falling: Preseason Week 2

The Colts lost to the Giants on Saturday in heartbreaking (much sorrow was had) fashion, losing a 26-point lead in the fourth quarter. The loss really means nothing. Some (NO NAMES WILL BE MENTIONED) have questioned the team’s fortitude, Chuck Pagano’s leadership and the size of Chandler Harnish’s clutch gene because of the loss, but […]

Players We Watched: RB Dan Herron

Editor’s Note: ‘Players We Watched’ is Colts Authority’s annual film review of specific players’ performances during the preseason. The series is predicated on the idea that the importance of preseason lies in the play of individuals rather than the team as a whole. Roster battles and crucial practice squad spots are often decided by preseason […]

Quick Hits: Five Things to Watch in Colts vs. Giants

I’m currently working on a Dan Herron film review for Friday, but since that wasn’t quite done, I wanted to throw a quick list of things together of things I’ll be watching in the Colts/Giants preseason matchup this Saturday. We’ll have more comprehensive preseason review next week, but a busy week for my personal life […]

Charting the Colts’ Offensive Line: Preseason Week 1

Welcome back to my favorite part of football blogging: charting blocks! After spending the offseason wandering through the dregs of the Colts’ roster, I’m diving back into offensive line play. If you’re reading this, you’re probably my favorite kind of football nerd, meaning I don’t need to explain to you how important blocking is. And anyway, […]
