Colts better than week 1

The Colts would like to finish strong with a few wins.  The AFC South Champion Houston Texans were the Colts first game this year but much has changed and it has the Colts thinking they can compete:

The Colts were down 17-0 after 13 minutes, 34-0 at halftime, 34-7 when the final whistle blew.

Fourteen weeks and 12 more losses have passed since, but the Colts (1-13) expect it to be different when they meet the AFC South champion Texans (10-4) again Thursday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.

“It will be Week 16 vs. Week 1,” Reitz said. “Even though we’ve had some injuries, we’ve got some continuity. We’ve got guys back playing in their original spots and guys healthier.”

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
