“I started having symptoms in February; pain and discomfort in my neck,” he said. “But it cleared up in a short period of time with some treatment and rehabilitation. Then a few weeks ago the discomfort returned and was more bothersome and was different than what I had over a year ago. So I returned to see Dr. (Rick) Fessler and he said it was something new and an MRI scan showed a slipped disk in a new area in the neck. With continued pain, we proceeded with surgery (May 23).”
