60 minutes, team effort and a win

Aside from a rather obvious exception, the Colts looked liked the Colts Thursday night.  The defense bended but never really broke, Reggie Wayne reminded everyone in the league that he’s clutch and once again the Colts turned back the wolves at the gate.  Mike Chappell writes that was the effort they’ve been seeking all year:

“That’s as much of a team victory as you’re going to get,” said defensive end Robert Mathis, who finished with three tackles and two sacks. “Proud of everybody.”

About Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a part-time sportswriter who spends too much time arguing on Twitter. What he really loves is eating poorly and watching football. He got his first Colts t-shirt in 1984 shortly after the Mayflower trucks arrived and has never given up on his hometown team. He also still holds to the belief that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the end zone and thus cheated the Colts.
